Priority Data
Services
This project was done for
Priority Data Services
out of Painesville, OH.
This site consists of stylish enhancements and a mobile-friendly layout.
The style of the site incorporates elements that make it feel like an old computer system.
This includes headlines that automatically type out with a cursor and text that overlays black backgrounds, similar to old text-based DOS and Unix systems (with a hint of shadow for depth).
The entire site incorporates jump links for ease of navigation.
Custom graphics and animations were created for this site, as can be seen on the
main page
and on the
Networking
page.
The opening text for each of the major services include a
parallax effect designed with a custom-created circuit board graphic.

A blog page was included on this site, named
The Cache ,
that matches the style and layout of the rest of the site.
It was launched with a premium blog post that includes a couple custom graphics, a lot of readable content, and outbound links to add depth to the overall presentation.
The
contact page
was designed with an overlaying mosaic style with text displayed on a faux "holographic glass" content area.
Scrolling the page reveals an embedded Google Map, followed by another text block with parallax and a general contact form that uses
conditional logic .
Chardon Tool
This project was done for
Chardon Tool
out of Chardon, OH.
They are a diamond tool manufacturer that does business worldwide and the footer of the website contains a language selector to automatically translates the website.
For this site, yellow tones taken from the current and original company logos were used to direct attention amongst the muted, neutral grays and blacks used in the layout.
The color palette used for this rebuild was similar to that of their previous website and was kept to maintain and already established company identity.
Highlight text and
hyperlinks
are differentiated subtly throughout the entire website.
A lot of technical research was done to ensure the overall content properly conveys information about their services and products.
Bulleted lists like on the
Diamond Friendly Materials
and
Shank Materials
pages include a lot of outbound links to Wikipedia, providing potential customers with further information.
Bells and whistles were added to the
main page
for more interaction to go along with the image slider.
Content areas flip colors when hovered over and link to primary service pages of the website, they reference locations and industries that are serviced, and include a set of counters that trigger when displayed in view.
Pages for specific tool brands were included with contact forms to request quotes on each.

An embedded YouTube video was used for additional multimedia content.
Lawn & Order
Landscaping
This project was done for
Lawn & Order Landscaping
out of Mentor, OH.
This website gets seasonal color changes to add some liveliness to it.
These pics are of the summer color scheme.
It incorporates a simple, single services page with some graphics to designate each type of service.
The mobile site menu was requested to remain an inline menu instead of a standard mobile or "burger" menu.
The
main page
includes a simple request callback form and there is a dedicated
careers page
with a fillable form for job applicants.
A blog, called
The Clip ,
was set up for this client and they have original content
regularly created
for it.
Most of the site is designed for a simple but effective presentation of information.
Durusa

This project was done for
Durusa
out of Painesville, OH.
They are designers and manufacturers of industrial finishing system lines.
The theme of this site was created from colors that regularly appeared the image assets provided and some of the colors the company used in marketing.
Multiple
product-focused pages
were developed for full systems and for individual stages.
Three services pages were also included in this build to showcase that they
design ,
fabricate
,
and
install
those products.
Considerable research had to be done to put together the technical aspects of company's products and services.
The site includes multiple locations for click-to-contact buttons ensuring potential customers would not have to search for them, including buttons that remain at the top of the page when scrolling.
Some pages include short, related product summaries at the end to promote related products and services.
A blog was established, called
Full Coverage ,
to further promote their projects.
An introductory blog post was created, along with a post that delves into the history of the electrocoating process.
The
contact page
includes contact numbers for specific members of the company and a
general contact form
.
First Time
Automotive
This project was done for
First Time Automotive out of Painesville, OH.
This website was designed and written with the overall attitude and style of the company.
A minimalist approach was taken in regards to the overall design of the pages.
Multiple service pages were created broken down into subheadings for specific services.
A custom staff page
was created with custom written bios for each of the employees.
Custom photography was provided to capture some of the projects in progress (both by Dexa and another third-party photographer).
A completed projects section was created with an entry that details one of their award-winning vehicle restorations.
The
contact page
was standard, including the shop hours, closed dates, address, phone number, and a general contact form.
Element Industrial
Services
This project was done for Element Industrial Services out of Madison, OH.
They are industrial fabricators and industrial equipment resellers.
This website is a
redesign
on the
Wix
platform.
The original layout of the site was disjointed, incomplete, and not mobile friendly.
A new color scheme was implemented to align closer to industry trends.
The layout was redone to provide a more logical progression of information and also designed to display properly on mobile.
An online shop was added with payment options through PayPal and major credit cards.
Services were kept simple and limited to a single page to aide in keeping the navigation bar from becoming crowded.
More options for a better contact form were added to the
contact page
along with hours and some basic contact instructions.
